VCE Vocational Major (VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC)

Rainbow P-12 College offers the VCE Vocational Major (VM) and the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) as flexible pathways for students in Years 11 and 12, focusing on practical skills and real-world learning. These programs suit students seeking hands-on experience that aligns with future goals, whether in further education, training, or entering the workforce.

The VCE Vocational Major is a two-year program centred on vocational and applied learning. Students progress through Units 1 and 2 in Year 11, followed by Units 3 and 4 in Year 12, developing skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and community engagement.

The Victorian Pathways Certificate offers an inclusive option for students who may benefit from an alternative to the traditional VCE. It emphasises essential life and work skills, providing a foundation in literacy, numeracy, and employability to prepare students for their next steps.

Both programs support students in a structured and nurturing environment, offering smaller classes and individual guidance to help them succeed in their chosen pathway.
