Programs Offered at RP-12
At Rainbow P-12, we offer a vast array of programs designed to support and engage students from Prep to Year 12. Our diverse curriculum caters to a wide range of interests and abilities, providing opportunities in academics, sports, the arts, digital technologies, and student wellbeing. We are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where every student can thrive.
Instrumental Music
Rainbow P-12 College is proud to offer a piano program across all year levels. Conducted on a ‘withdrawal’ basis, students receive tutoring either individually or in small groups of two to three. This program is designed to nurture musical skills and encourage personal growth.
Production
Each year, the College offers students the opportunity to take part in a stage production, either as performers or in vital support roles such as backstage crew, set construction, hair and make-up, and program and ticket design. Rehearsals typically take place at lunchtimes and after school.
Due to ongoing building works, the production is currently on hold, but we look forward to its return in the future.
Shake, Rattle and Read
Shake, Rattle and Read is a program designed to support and empower parents and caregivers through rhymes, songs, and storybooks. It demonstrates daily use of rhymes to engage children, teaches effective read-aloud techniques, and introduces important pre-reading concepts to foster early literacy development.
School For Student Leadership
The School for Student Leadership is a DET initiative that offers a unique residential education experience for Year Nine students. The curriculum emphasises personal development and team learning projects inspired by the students’ home regions. With three campuses across Victoria, SSL provides a transformative educational opportunity.

Breakfast Club
At Rainbow P-12 College, our Breakfast Club provides students with a nutritious and welcoming start to the day. Thanks to our partnership with Food Bank Victoria, we are able to offer a variety of healthy breakfast options, including fresh fruit, ham and cheese toasties, juice, milk, and fruit cups.
A healthy breakfast is essential for student focus, energy, and overall wellbeing. In addition to breakfast, Food Bank Victoria also enables us to provide extra snacks and lunch options for students who may need additional support throughout the school day.
Breakfast Club is a great way for students to fuel up for learning while enjoying a warm and supportive environment each morning.
Study Buddies
The Study Buddy Program provides VCE students with a dedicated, quiet, and distraction-free space after school to focus on their studies. Running from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, this program offers a supportive environment where students can complete homework, revise for exams, and manage their workload effectively.
To enhance the study experience, light refreshments are provided, ensuring students remain energised and focused throughout the session. Whether working independently or seeking guidance from peers and teachers, the Study Buddy Program helps students develop productive study habits and make the most of their afternoons.
